Suncorp debuts image capturing digital feature to assist with vehicle repairs

Suncorp introduces Customer Vehicle Image Capture (CVIC) – a new digital solution to assist with vehicle repairs and improve customer experience. The digital feature gives customers the option to upload images of their damaged vehicle expediting claims process.

Anna Cartwright, Head of Motor Claims, Suncorp Group said: “We’re incredibly excited about the initiative and hope to continue exceeding our customer’s expectations through an improved repair experience into the future.”

“Suncorp has recently fast-tracked a number of digital solutions to ensure insurance claims continue to be resolved quickly, and CVIC is just the latest,” Ms Cartwright said.

Other digital solutions provided by Suncorp aimed at improving customer claims experience include:

  • Improved Web-Chat capabilities
  • Extension of online claims functionality
  • Offering virtual claims assessment for commercial and consumer properties.

The Digital Imperative

Suncorp’s latest digital solution comes as enterprises race to improve their digital offerings.

Leading Melbourne based bank NAB announced a range of digital features including Whatsapp and iMessage support, VoiceID biometrics, Online Cheque deposit feature among others.
