The Australia – France relationship in the IT industry seems to be getting stronger by the day. At least, that’s the impression one gets from French cloud provider OVHCloud’s ventures in Australia. OVHcloud announced plans to significantly ramp up operations in Asia Pacific, with a focus on growth in Australia and India.
The company sees a huge opportunity in the Australian Cloud market while being cognizant of the challenges from industry leaders AWS and Microsoft.
Lionel Legros, the Head of Asia Pacific said his company has the technological and financial wherewithal to deliver what the Australian enterprises need to grow their businesses in the ever changing digital landscape.

Speaking exclusively to itvibes.com.au on the sidelines of Ecosystem Experience 2021, Lionel expressed confidence of achieving greater growth in the Australian market.

Lionel cited the example of an Australian gaming company, a long standing client of OVH Cloud, to scale operations and grow in the United States, Europe and Asia. The business has grown significantly over the years and OVHcloud seems to take pride in their client’s growth story.
Mr Legros further explained “With the global partnerships in place, Asia Pacific will form an explicitly indirect channel approach”.
